Trenchless Sewer Repair FAQs
Our experiences plumbers answer your questions about how no-dig sewer repairs work so you know exactly what to expect from the process.
What is a trenchless pipe repair?
Trenchless pipe repair is a method of repairing underground sewer pipes without the need for
extensive digging. In a trenchless repair, a flexible liner coated with resin is inserted into the
damaged pipe. Once in place, the resin hardens, creating a new, durable pipe inside the old one.
What types of pipe breaks can be repaired using trenchless repair?
Cracked/fractured pipes, aging/corroded pipes, minor cases of misaligned pipes and small holes
in pipes are the most common types of breaks that may be eligible for a trenchless repair.
When is trenchless repair not an option?
Collapsed pipes, severely broken pipes, back pitched pipes, severe tree root infestation and
reduced pipe size are the types of issues that cannot be repaired using a trenchless pipe patch.
Is trenchless sewer repair durable?
Yes, trenchless pipe lining is built to last and often lasts the same as or longer than traditional pipes.
